Photoshop Friday and more...

I love Photoshop Friday jessicasprague.com.  Last December I purchased the entire year for 2012 and have not been disappointed - and the best part is I add another layout (or two) to my "to be printed" folder.  

This episode of Photoshop Friday featured a fun template and journaling in a column.  I love that each of these classes refreshes my memory on all of the awesome techniques available in photoshop. And if you are relatively new to photoshop - not to worry, the video lesson and corresponding PDF are easy to follow.

My 'Creativity' layout features paper and elements from my Beautiful Music Collection - available at both NDISB and MyMemories.  I can't tell you how I truly loved spending the day with my husband and girls - and in a paint studio was definitely a bonus!  So much fun getting my hands messy......

Fresh! Floral Fun! A New Collection

The past few weeks have been wonderfully busy (loving summer) and I'm tickled to share that I have just released a new collection at both Natural Designs in Scrapbooking and My Memories. The Fresh! Floral Fun! collection features bright colors and fun designs that are ideal for a variety of everyday layouts as well as special events.  Even if flowers are not 'your thing' you will find lots of digi-licious paper and elements in this collection.

Paper Pack One features shades of blue and green with accents of pink, yellow, purple and peach.  Chevrons, stripes, dots, solids and of course a floral patterned paper.

Paper Pack Two features shades of pink and peach with accents of blue, green, pink, yellow and purple.  Like Paper Pack One - this pack includes chevrons, stripes, dots, solids and (you guessed it) a floral pattern.

Finally, for those that have asked, I do live in Colorado Springs - my family and my home are currently safe and not at risk from the WaldoCanyon Fire.  I ask that you keep the families that were directly affected by this fire as well as the firefighters and emergency responders in your prayers.  The fire is far from out and their journey is only beginning. It will take time to rebuild.  I am truly impressed at how the greater community has come together thus far and I know, deep in my heart, that we will all be stronger.  God Bless - and give your loved ones an extra hug tonight.

Project 366 - Week 24

Another fabulous week.  Started in Virginia, a quick trip across the river to Maryland and ended up back home in Colorado. Life is good!

The quick pages I am using for my 2012 Project 366 album feature my Beautiful Music Collection - available at both NDISB, ETSY and MyMemories.

I love how easy these quick pages make Project 366.  I simply add the pictures, dates and a touch of journaling.  Scrapbooking does not get much easier. These layouts go in my "to be printed" folder and you know that makes me very happy!

Happy Fathers Day to all of the special Fathers and Guys in your life.  A shout out to my own Dad, Joe and to my husband, David; my son Chris; and my son in law Larry.  I love you all!

Week 23 - Project 366

Digital Art Journaling

Life has been pretty busy the last few months and I have not had the opportunity to do any Digital Art Journaling.   I have saved the weekly prompts that are shared in the general forum at JessicaSprague with the high hopes that one day things would slow down  - just a bit.  This morning I worked on two layouts and really enjoyed the process. I forgot just how much I love this form of art and personal expression.

I still have 4 more art journaling prompts from the past month  and will likely work on these over the next week.

Playing catch-up on my Photoshop Fridays! This is one of the reasons I love classes at jessicasprague.com. They are available forever - so if life gets a bit hectic (which it does at times) I can work on my layouts and take those classes when I have the opportunity. No stress!

Project 366 - Week 22

I am ever so happy that I created these quickpages for Project 366 - 2012.   It was so easy to sit down and create - I simply added pictures, journaling and a few dates - and they were quickly saved in my "to be printed" folders.  22 weeks down....30 to go!
