As 2012 comes to a close - I am putting on my dancing shoes! I have officially completed my Project 366. The final few layouts are already in my "to be printed" folder ready to be printed and added to my album.
Here are the last two weeks (okay one week and two days)
p.s. - I have a new facebook freebie featuring "pink" - my youngest daughter's favorite color - go check it out.
Wishing you and your family a Blessed New Year. May 2013 be the best ever....by the Shore.

October - in review
Wow - October sure was a busy month in our home - but I am excited that I spent just a little bit of time on Saturday (Digital Scrapbook Day) getting caught up on Project 366. Four weeks of double layouts was super easy to do using my 2012 Quick Pages.
I am excited about 2013. It will be a slightly different year for Project 365 as I have decided to exclusively use my phone for taking my "picture of the day". I am spending a little time planning my approach in advance so that my plan of action will be simple, easy and of course fun! I will share more with you in December.
Until then, stay safe and warm...enjoy the blessings that surround you....by the Shore.

Have I mentioned....
...how much I love my Project 366. When Becky Higgins introduced Project 365 (now known as Project Life) a few years ago - I never would have thought it would have such a positive impact. My family simply loves to look through the albums I have created over the last four years. They are able to see more than scrapbooks about events and activities - they are able to smile about the little things in our daily life - those things that make us who we are. I still love creating layouts for our family albums and I am still able to fully document those special events in traditional 12x12 pages. But for those little moments in life that are so often forgotten and those glimpses of reality - my "picture of the day" is priceless.
Here are Weeks 39 and 40 - and they are already in my "to be printed" folder (I love adding files to that folder)
Remember that this can be whatever YOU want it to be!
I have already decided that for me 2013 will be completely using pictures from my phone. I am still determining the "how" and looking at different apps that will keep it simple and keep it fun! What about you? What do you love about Project 366 (Project Life)? What are your plans for 2013?
Looking forward to 2013 and still loving life in 2012...by the Shore.

- A picture a day or a picture a week.
- Digital or Traditional Paper or Blog

What We've Been Up To...
I am tickled pink that four years ago I stumbled on Project 366 (aka Project 365 and Project Life) Becky Higgins approach to memory keeping. Sure I still create layouts for events, special occasions and 'just because' ~ but Project 366 allows me to quickly document those little things in life that make us who we are.
I have been making my albums for Project Life using a calendar year - but please don't let that intimidate you. You can start anytime - so why not now. You can go back or simply move forward. The important thing is to get started. I use my 366 Days in 2012 Quick Pages available at NDISB and MyMemories .
Quickpages have made staying current super easy. What if life happens and I simply don't have time to make a weekly layout. Yes, it happens! Saturday night, I sat down and quickly created 3 double layouts for weeks 36,37 and 38. Using these quickpages, it took no time at all to add my pictures, a touch of journaling and they are now resting in my "to be printed" folder.
What if I forget to take a picture one day (gasp)?!?! I can always use a picture from a neighboring day or can simply add some extra journaling. I do try to keep a point and shoot in my purse - but I am finding myself reaching for my phone more and more to take quick pics (and the resolution is pretty good)
Moving forward ... presenting....Weeks 36,37 and 38...
I am forever thankful for Becky Higgins and her Project Life inspiration. My family can often be found looking through these albums and cherishing memories (and that makes me smile)

Weeks 34 & 35 - Project 366
If you are stopping by for the September 2012 Inspire Me Blogtrain - you are in the right place! Click here !
Here are the last two weeks of Project 366! Weeks 34 and 35 were busy in our household. My oldest started college and is excited about her new journey. We had a mini-trip to the Chicago area to get her settled into her new dorm. My youngest started 6th grade and is loving life. And we are all settling into our new "normal".
My "366 Days in 2012" quick page collection is still available at both Natural Designs in Scrapbooking and My Memories. Four sets of quick pages that are perfect for showcasing your daily pictures. It's never too late to start - and these quick pages make it super easy!

Project 366 - Week 31 & 32
The last few weeks have been busy (totally enjoying time with my girls before they head back to school) We've been having fun packing for college, shopping for school supplies, and spending time together. I just finished weeks 31 and 32 for my Project 366 album.
I love how easy it has been to stay on top of this album. My 366 Days in 2012 Quickpages have been awesome ~ simply add the pictures, dates and journaling ...and save the pages to my "to be printed" folder. These quick pages are still available at Natural Designs in Scrapbooking and My Memories.
I am already planning ahead for 2013. Each year I do something slightly different with my "picture of the day" album. I think I may use instagram and take all of my pictures with my cell phone. What has worked for you this year? What would you like to see in my stores in 2013 to support YOUR "picture of the day" album?

Project 366 ~ Week 30!
Another super week in our household. We stayed pretty busy - especially towards the end of the week. (And we do like busy!)
This is my fourth year taking and scrapping "a picture a day". The first year I created my own album traditionally using my paper stash. In 2010, I used digital templates I created. In 2011, I purchased one of the Project Life Collections from Becky Higgins. And this year, I used my digital quick pages.
It has been so easy for me to stay current this year using my 366 Days in 2012 Quick Page Collection (available at NDISB and MyMemories) There are four sets of coordinating quick pages. At the end of the week, I simply open up the 'next' set of quick pages; add my pictures, the dates and days of the year (1-366) and a touch of journaling. It's that simple - and then, of course, I add the files to my "to be printed" folder (Have I mentioned that this is one of my favorite folders on my hard-drive?)
Do you participate in the "picture a day" scrapbooking trend? Traditionally, digitally? What makes it easy for you? Any challenges? Would love to know your thoughts!
Wishing you a beautiful week...by the Shore.

Project 366 - Week 29
Over 200 days of daily pictures - and still going strong.
We have had another fun and busy week. I honestly would not have it any other way! It's hard to believe that in a month (give or take a few days) both girls will be in school. Cherishing this time together - summer is much too short.
Have a wonderful week - giving extra hugs to family, friends and loved ones ~ by the Shore.
(Don't forget that there are only a few days left to grab my current facebook freebie - and it fully coordinates with my Fresh Floral Fun Collection)

Busy Busy
Wow - what a week. I have been busy putting the finishing touches on our elementary school yearbook. Uploaded it to our printer on Wednesday night and simply waiting on the hard copy proof. A labor of love - and one that I love doing.
Here is the cover (school name removed)
And I just finished week 17 of Project 366.
With the bulk of the yearbook behind me, I am tickled to be able to get back to designing a few new digital kits. In the meantime, to celebrate interNational Scrapbook Day - all of my products at Natural Designs in Scrapbooking are on sale - 50% off, through Saturday May 5th. This includes quickpages, templates, collections and kits! Head on over now ~ let the shopping begin!
It is wonderfully warm here in Colorado - and I love all of the GREEN that spring brings. Have a fabulous weekend....by the Shore.
